Svalgurok is Germany's largest outdoor water playground with over 100 different play options! Botta Management managed all the work for Europa-Park's newest attraction on behalf of the Mack family.

 

No one stays dry at Svalgurok: a huge, bulging and swaying water bucket brings welcome cooling, while a gigantic slide tower - with a wave slide and a funnel slide, among others - provides thrills. And right next to Svalgurok, the second new area, Snorri Beach, offers slide and water fun for the youngest visitors with more splashy attractions.

The realisation of this 9000 m² extension took 11 months. More than 5500m³ of concrete and over 1200 tons of steel were used for the shell construction. For the construction on which the slides are installed, another 1000 tons of steel were skilfully used.

Water has been one of the most important success factors of Europa-Park since the very beginning. All the more reason for us all to treat the precious water with care and consideration here. The basement for the water treatment has an enclosed space of 8500 m³. It contains the huge Captura filters that constantly clean and recycle the water.
